Finely chop the onion and cook in 2-3 tablespoons of oil. When it becomes translucent, add the diced carrot and cook with the onion for another 1-2 minutes.
Over the onion and carrot add soy, 2 cups water, bay leaf and cook for 15-20 minutes. Before turning off the heat for 2 minutes, add the tomato paste and the donut paste, salt, pepper and plenty of parsley.
Serve with your favorite pasta. Of course, you can also grate the cheese on top, but we preferred them without it.
The sauce is very tasty!
