RECIPE PREPARATION American Pancakes:

I chewed in a bowl all the solid ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and a little salt).

I chewed the yogurt with the egg (in another bowl) and then I added margarine. I chewed all the solid ingredients with a whisk.

I heated a frying pan, greased a little oil with a brush, took it with the help of a polish from the composition and spread it in the pan. When it browned, I turned it over and let it cook on the other side as well.

I served them hot with cherry jam.

Beat the eggs with the sugar until they form a thick cream, then slowly add the oil and mix well. Add some of the flour mixture, then some of the milk. Repeat the operation. Mix well with the mixer, at low speed. The dough should be thick, but flow from the polish. Put a large spoonful of dough in the pan greased with a little oil, and fry on both sides. The pan must be very well heated.

  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil
  • a tablespoon of agave syrup, or honey

For the cream:

  • 2 tablespoons carob powder, or cocoa
  • a teaspoon of peanut butter
  • Coconut milk
  • a tablespoon of agave syrup, or honey

* For decoration I used a banana, a kiwi and some berries

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

1. Mix the flour with the baking soda and baking powder, with a pinch of salt and carob powder. Add the vanilla essence, coconut oil, agave syrup and mineral water, little by little and mix with a blender, or mixer, until it reaches the desired consistency. It should be thicker than normal pancakes.

2. Heat a non-stick pan and put a polish from the pancake mixture. We spread the pancake by tilting the pan to one side. We check with a spatula, and when it is baked, we turn it on the other side. Do the same with all the pancakes and leave them to cool.

3. For the cream, mix the carob powder with the peanut butter and add a little milk until it becomes like a cream.

4. Grease each pancake with carob cream, and garnish with sliced ​​berries, banana and kiwi on top.

You will get a thick dough, considerably thicker than that for normal pancakes. Leave the dough for 15 minutes before making the pancakes.

Heat a frying pan and grease it with a little oil or melted butter. Put dough in the center of the pan with a polish or a whisk. The diameter must be 10-15 cm, in no case as big as the whole pan, and the thickness is about half a centimeter.

Bake until it starts to bubble on top, then turn to the other side and leave for another 1-2 minutes.

American pancakes can be served individually or in layers of 4-5, with whatever topping you like. Jam, honey, maple syrup or fresh berries and powdered sugar on top are just a few delicious suggestions.


  1. To start making kimchi pancakes, you will need to mix all the ingredients together and let them sit for about 10 minutes to allow them to mix. Next, you will check the consistency of the mixture before cooking. Keep in mind that the dough should be slightly cleaner than the American pancake dough, so that the dough will cook quickly and evenly.

American pancakes - the perfect recipe

Today I accidentally hit the perfect pancake recipe. Zaraza is a great lover, so I couldn't refuse her when she asked for American pancakes for breakfast.

They are fluffy, fragrant and obviously delicious.

I only did it for her. I got 4 big pancakes. Obviously, you can double or triple the recipe.

80 g Greek yogurt 2% fat

45 g flour (I used Grania for the cake)

1 tablespoon baking powder

Depending on the size of the egg (mine was larger), adjust the flour. The consistency must maintain its shape in the pan, ie not to stretch when we put it with a spoon, to be quite firm.

I baked in Tefal, over medium to low heat, without oil. I also put the lid on. I watched them carefully, when the edges started to ripen, I turned the pancake on the other side.

Zaraza wanted a calorie bomb with peanut butter and maple syrup, but probably, being already 11 and something, it will be a lighter brunch and lunch will be somewhere around 4-5 & # 8230a lunch-dinner :))

Pancakes with meat and rice

  • 500 gr preserved mushrooms
  • 4 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 300 ml of tomato juice
  • 1 bunch of dill

Method of preparation

Mix the beaten eggs with the flour and dilute with milk until you get a creamy consistency and bake pancakes a little thicker.

Separately, sauté the chopped onion and add the mushrooms and meat. When the juice left by the mushrooms has decreased, add the pasta and tomato juice and simmer until reduced.

Add the rice (boiled separately) to the meat mixture, then the chopped dill.

When the composition has cooled a little, fill the pancakes, close the ends (so that the filling does not fall) and roll.

Scandinavian pancakes with potatoes and salmon

ingredients

  • 500 gr potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 or

  • 100 gr smoked salmon
  • 200 gr cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • half a bunch of dill
  • a few slices of cucumber

Method of preparation

Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice.

Finely chop the onion and place it over the grated potatoes, add the beaten egg, flour, a little chopped dill and salt.

Fry in pancakes from this composition, taking care to be nicely browned on both sides. Remove them on paper towels to remove excess oil.

Put a tablespoon of cream cheese mixed with lemon juice on each pancake, then slices of salmon.

Roll the pancakes and decorate with dill threads and lemon slices.

American oatmeal pancakes with blueberries

ingredients

  • half a cup of cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • vanilla essence
  • a cup of blueberries
  • 100 gr honey

Method of preparation

Mix in the food processor the oatmeal with the cottage cheese, eggs and vanilla essence until you get a homogeneous composition, the consistency of cream.

With the help of a polish, pour the composition in the center of a non-stick pan and let it spread as much as she wants. Don't try to spread it all over the pan. American pancakes are smaller and thicker than ours. Bake on both sides.
